Nominations Accepted for ACOPNE 2021 Awards

The Academy of Coastal, Ocean, Port & Navigation Engineers (ACOPNE) proudly announce the call for nominations for the 2021 ACOPNE Outstanding Practitioner in Coastal, Ocean, Port or Navigation Engineering Award and the Service to the ACOPNE Award.

The ACOPNE Outstanding Practitioner in Coastal, Ocean, Port or Navigation Engineering Award was established in 2018 to recognize an ACOPNE Diplomate(s) who has demonstrated a significant contribution to the disciplines of coastal, ocean, port or navigation engineering through engineering practice. This award will be given annually to a Diplomate who has made a significant contribution through engineering practice based on either a single outstanding achievement or through a body of work related to the practice of coastal, ocean, port or navigation engineering.

The Service to the ACOPNE Award is to recognize a Diplomate that exemplifies leadership and service to the Academy of Coastal, Ocean, Port and Navigation Engineers. This award will be given annually to a Diplomate of ACOPNE who has demonstrated outstanding and extensive service or contributions to the Academy.

The requirements for the nomination package for each award must include a nominating letter, an official nomination form, bio or resume, and minimum of two recommendation letters supporting the nomination. Nominees must be a Diplomate (in good standing) or Distinguished Diplomate of ACOPNE.
