ACOPNE supports the upcoming 34th PIANC World Congress 2018, scheduled for May 7-12, in Panama City, Panama. PIANC, the World Association for Waterborne, Transport and Infrastructure, and the Panama Canal Authority (ACP) will co-host the 34th PIANC World Congress- theme titled Connecting Maritime Hubs Globally.

PIANC’s goal is to advance the sustainable development of shallow and deep-draft navigation issues including dredging and dredged material disposal, navigation and port infrastructure, recreational navigation and related environmental matters.

The PIANC World Congress 2018 will present and discuss the most relevant topics to the waterborne transport infrastructure sector. The renowned international event is open to members and non-members and is expected to bring engineers and practitioners from all over the globe. Take advantage of this gathering to exchange knowledge and experiences with experts and peers from your profession.

The meetings will be held from May 7 to 12 at the Riu Panama Hotel, located in downtown Panama City. The Congress will last a week full of networking, technical presentations, short courses, and best practices in the waterborne, transport and infrastructure sector.
